HOW TO TALK SO KIDS CAN LEARN
Workshop Kit Description

The How To Talk So Kids Can Learn workshop is based on the book, How To Talk So Kids Can Learn, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. It is designed to be run either by a lay person or a trained professional. It is a do-it-yourself course that enables you to bring together a group of teachers, school staff, and parents to support learning at home and at school for children of all ages.

This workshop is for adults who are looking for respectful tools to promote the autonomy of children and teens, encourage self-discipline and inspire a love of learning. The concrete tools this workshop offers are useful for parents, teachers and other learning professionals (educational staff, psychologists, speech therapists, school counselors, etc.).

The workshop also promotes partnership between school staff and parents, in order to help children and young people solve problems that arise at home and at school.

Both Part 1 and Part 2 of the How To Talk So Kids Can Learn workshop consist of six sessions that run two hours each.
